The information below has been adapted from 'Bereavement and Loss in People with Learning Disabilities' from the Oxfordshire Learning Disability NHS Trust.

If you are caring for someone who has a learning disability, they will need extra support should they experience a major personal loss, such as bereavement.  Find out how you can help by clicking here

PRODIGY has launched a  new set of materials on a range of health topics that are particularly relevant to the health of people with learning disabilities.  They commissioned the leaflets which were written with easy words and pictures, making them suitable to give to patients with learning disabilities, or anyone who struggles with written information.  Topics include common conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes, obesity and thyroid problems.

The leaflets were translated into Easy Read format by the Easyhealth team at Generate
